LIMITS

File and Conversion Limits

ImageConvert uses browser safety limits so conversion stays responsive, honest and private when possible. Limits protect your device from oversized images, huge batches and unsupported workflows.

Batch and engine safety limits

A batch can contain up to 50 files totaling exactly 1 GiB of selected source files. Files are processed strictly one at a time. Server workflows use temporary request storage and delete files after success, error, timeout, disconnect or coordinated shutdown.

Files can still be refused by authentic format checks, dimensions, pixels, frames, duration, structural complexity, available disk, memory or CPU, timeout or engine support; there is no smaller arbitrary source-file cap.

Workflow-specific limits

Animated GIF/APNG files are refused on static-output routes so animation is not lost silently. RAW server conversion is not currently enabled/certified; no RAW upload is offered. Other specialist routes remain disabled until their exact decoder and output path are byte-proven.

Conversion guide routes remain informational until the required decoder/export path is ready.
